  • Determine necessary components and configurations required to meet user requirements
  • Assess documentation on systems’ configuration, systems implementation, architecture, propose engineering designs, and cost estimates
  • Provide analysis reports, write implementation plans and assist operations personnel in integration and installation of new deployment systems
  • Provide comments and recommendations on existing capabilities, limitations, and practices
  • Explores new technologies and industry standards, test and evaluate products, and service unique software
  • Automated processes, tasks, and deployments to reduce time and overhead in administration of systems
  • Support and maintain hosted VMware Private cloud for 250+ systems
    • Manage and configure systems operating systems (OS) baselines for rapid deployment
      • Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, SUSE Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux
    • Support customer hosted systems
      • Provision and configure virtual machine (VM) resources for each customer hosted solution
      • Coordinate scope of deployment, Service Level Agreements (SLA), and any required network or firewall changes
      • Facilitate product support, installation teams, and database administrators with required access and rights to customer systems for installation, maintenance, and updates
    • Manage Active Directory, Group Policies per customer, RDS Portal, MOVEit, and SMTP relays
    • Apply approved updates and patches through change control process and scheduled within SLAs for customers
    • DUO 2nd factor authentication
      • Manage and maintain integration hosted environments
    • Manage systems and networks for customer requirements through various tools
      • PRTG Network Monitoring
      • Manage Engine ADAudit, Patch Manager Plus, Key Manager Plus, and Password Manager Pro
      • Kemp and Citrix NetScaler Load Balancer
      • DUO 2nd factor authentication
      • Symantec Endpoint Protection deployment and updates
      • Host-Tracker
    • Maintain SOC compliance for hosted cloud environments
    • Support and maintain on-premise VMware servers with 140 deployed systems
    • Request, deploy, and monitor certificates for external websites and product security for consumer products
    • Migrate systems and infrastructure between on-premise, AWS, Azure, and partner hosted VMware datacenters
    • Provide additional support as needed to previous position not supported by current staff
