  • Target goal to reduce footnote in several datacenters impacted by divestiture or reduced load
  • Provisioned hosts for clusters
  • Deployed VMware HCX and NSX for migrations
  • Successful cold migration testing
    • Existing network configuration requires re-IPing
  • Hot migrations in testing for timing
  • Rebuilding services on Windows Server 2012 R2 systems, instead of migration
  • Coordinating with Application and Product teams to identify connections, requirements, and targets for migration
